Black Horse Tender is a low-starch and low-sugar complementary feed designed for horses and ponies. Tender is suitable for horses which are intended to have a limited amount of starch and sugar in their diet. Tender is suitable for horses and ponies with sensitive stomachs, those susceptible to foot and mouth disease, convalescents and those suffering from muscle stiffness.

Tender also contains mannan oligosaccharide (MOS), which is obtained from the cell wall of yeast, which maintains the well-being of the intestinal bacterial population. MOS binds harmful bacteria in the digestive tract, reducing their adhesion to the intestinal wall. Tender's herbal mixture (Oregostim) improves the palatability of the feed and makes it pleasantly fragrant. Also includes a mycotoxin binder.

If the horse eats the feed hastily/gluttonously, it is recommended that the feed be swollen in water before feeding.
