When a growing dog has passed its peak growth phase, its nutritional needs change. This must be considered in the diet, otherwise the dog may become prone to excess weight and osteoarthritis.

The low starch content supports digestion. In addition, soluble dietary fibers (prebiotics), Lactobacillus lactic acid bacteria (probiotics), and bentonite help protect and support the gut microbiota and intestinal mucosa.

The food contains a high amount of animal protein, an important source of sulfur-containing amino acids, as well as essential omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. These nutrients support the formation of the skin’s protective barrier and promote healthy coat growth.
