The effect of linseed oil on animal welfare is based on the composition of its fatty acids.

Linseed oil contains rich of alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3). The unsaturated fatty acids, alpha linolenic acid (ALA) and linoleic acid (LA) are important for cell membranes and affect positively the condition of the skin and coat.
Linseed oil is also good energy source in horse feeding.

Linseed oil is pure energy, a vegetable fat. As an energy source, fat is fast-acting, effective and completely safe when used correctly.

100% cold-pressed linseed oil

Nutritional composition:

Fatty acids of which:

alpha-linolenic acid (omega-3) 62%
linoleic acid (omega-6) 15%

Instructions for use

As a supplement in addition to normal feeding for horses, 2-4 tablespoons per day.
As an energy feed, 2-5 dl per day. Mix with a dose of concentrated feed.
For dogs, 10-15 ml/day.

Warning: papers, rags and clothes with linseed oil on them can spontaneously combust when dried.
Wash oily tools and clothes thoroughly.
