Composition
Aqua, Disodium EDTA, PCMX, Diethylhexyl sodium sulfosuccinate, Salicylic acid,
Glycotechnology (Rhamnose, Galactose, Mannose), Defensin technology (Peumus boldus leaf extract, Spiraea ulmaria extract).

Tolerability
Based on studies, it has been found that the New EpiOtic does not irritate even the skin of irritated ear canals. The solution does not contain propylene glycol or alcohol. In addition, the solution is neutral in acidity (pH 7) and contains gentle cleansing ingredients.

Cleansing effect
Good cleaning effect is the most important feature of an ear cleaner. EpiOtic combines the effect of two surfactants and salicylic acid. Surfactants dissolve earwax and salicylic acid facilitates the removal of dead cells and inflammatory secretions.
The result is effective cleansing of the ear canal from secretions that cause inflammation and appear as a result of inflammation.

Antiseptic effect
PCMX and EDTA. The surfactant (EDTA) enhances the effect of the antiseptic (chloroxylenol, pcmx) and sensitizes even resistant bacteria to antibiotics.

Glycotechnology: Anti-adhesion effect
EpiOtic contains a combination of three monosaccharides (L-Rhamnose, D-Galactose, D-Mannose). These three sugars prevent microbes from attaching to the skin of the ear canal by binding to the surface of the microbe.

When bacteria are prevented from attaching, their ability to multiply and cause inflammation is also prevented. A non-attached microbe is also more sensitive to antiseptics and the effects of antibiotics. In addition, it has been shown that the monosaccharide (L-rhamnose) added to the solution has anti-inflammatory properties.

Defensin technology: stimulates the skin's own defenses against microbes.
Natural plant extracts (Boldou extract, Mesiangervou extract) stimulate endogenous peptides in the pet's skin. These antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) participate in the skin's defense by reducing the bacterial load on the skin. When the skin is in an abnormal state, AMPs change in the skin and recruit new immune cells (T cells, mast cells) to strengthen the skin's own defenses.
