Collagen is produced by the body, but its production decreases with age, resulting in the thinning of the body’s cartilage. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate are the building blocks of the body’s cartilage tissue, and they play a vital role in ensuring the flexibility and durability of the body’s cartilage. MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) provides the body with sulphur, which can be found in the structural proteins of the joints and cartilage. N-acetyl-D-glucosamine is a chemical relative of glucosamine, chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, and it can be found in the body’s cartilage and connective tissue.
